Earlier today Canada’s Competition Bureau announced that it had finalized its new Communication During Inquiries Bulletin. The Bulletin had been the subject of public consultations late last year.
While the new Bulletin, like all of the Bureau’s various types of guidelines, is not law, it summarizes how the Bureau communicates with targets of inquiries, industry participants, complainants and the public following the commencement of a formal inquiry under the Competition Act.
